Kabul, Nov 18 : The Taliban has reportedly rejected Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s offer of protection of the group’s leader Mullah Mohammad Omar, if he joins peace talks with the government.

No positive sign from Mullah Omar on reconciliation: White House (AFP via Yahoo! News)

The White House said it has seen no positive signs of progress from Mullah Mohammad Omar and the many Taliban he leads after an offer of reconciliation made by Afghan President Hamid Karzai.
