Miramshah, Nov 21 : A pro-Pakistan government Taliban leader has reportedly threatened to carry out retaliatory attacks in the settled areas (of the country) if the federal government failed to stop the US drone strikes in the tribal areas.

KABUL — Afghan President Hamid Karzai has offered to provide security for the Taliban’s reclusive leader, Mullah Omar, if he agrees to peace talks. Karzai made the offer despite the multi-million dollar bounty offered for the militant leader’s capture by the United States.
