Bomber targets German troops in Afghanistan (Deutsche Welle) |
A suicide car bomber targeting German forces in Afghanistan wounded three schoolgirls on Sunday, but no German troops were injured. The bomber rammed a car into a German military vehicle near the northern city of Kunduz, wrecking his vehicle and killing himself, as the three girls were passing by.
